Much gratitude to the U Hills community for your generous support of SPIRIT Council!

  What is SPIRIT Council?
SPIRIT Council is a group of students in grades 3-5 who sign up to participate in philanthropic projects in support of local charities and the greater community. The group also sponsors two charity fundraisers, a bake sale and "buddy grams", during conferences in the fall and spring. Any student in grades 3-5 is welcome to join at any time throughout the school year. You must be a member of SPIRIT Council to participate in projects and attend meetings, but attendance is not required at every meeting. Meeting notices and permission slips (which MUST be returned for each member wishing to participate) are sent home for each project.

At our first meeting, we invite all of our members to bring a food pantry donation for Rochester Area Neighborhood House - please help us to help our neighbors in need by bringing an item from their "wish list" to donate.  RANH Wish List items include:  canned tuna, canned chicken, canned fruit, manwich, oatmeal, mac & cheese, canned pasta, box cereal, rice, jello, pudding coffee and tea.  Thank you for your support!

We also invite a parent to attend this first meeting with you as we will be going over guidelines and expectations for our upcoming year of service projects. We hope you will join us for this kick-off meeting as we look forward to another year of fun and community service.
