Pre-K 3
Pre-K 3 is for children who turn three on or before December 1, 2023.
We recommend Pre-K 3 for children who turn 3 on or before September 1st.
For the 2023-2024 School Year, Pre-K 3 is offered at Brewster, Hampton, and North Hill.

Mrs. Tigges, Teacher
This is Mrs. Tigges' 5th year of teaching and 3rd year with RCS Pre-K. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She says the best thing about teaching is "watching young minds at work learning new things."
Mrs. Tigges and her husband David have four children, Diana, Sylvia, Augustus, and Atticus. Their family lives in Rochester Hills with their pets Sunny the dog, Tony the tortoise, and two hamsters. Her favorite color is red, her favorite place is Hilton Head Island, and she enjoys reading and running in her free time.
Mrs. Taylor, Assistant
This is Mrs. Taylor's 9th year working as an assistant for RCS Pre-K. She went to college at The University of Dayton. She says the best thing about teaching is "seeing their excited and smiley faces in the morning."
Mrs. Taylor lives with her husband, Ken, and they have four children, Ally, Abby, Mady, and Jack. They also have a dog named Felix. Her favorite color is blue, her favorite food is steak, she enjoys visiting Mackinac Island and watching her kids do the sports they love.

Mrs. Youngblood, Teacher
This is Mrs. Youngblood's 10th year of teaching, and her 3rd year as a lead teacher. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Western Michigan University and a second Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Rochester University. She says the best thing about teaching is "getting to know the children and families in our community and learning so much from each other."
Mrs. Youngblood and her husband, Tim, have four children, Peyton, Lucy, JT, and Wade. They also have two dogs (Rufus and Cosi) and two cats (Twyla and Del Griffith). Her favorite food is bananas and she loves dancing in her kitchen, enjoying bonfires in her backyard with her family, reading, and running.
Mrs. Sangeorzan, Assistant
This is Mrs. Sangeorzan's 3rd year working in RCS Pre-K. She went to college at Michigan State University. She says the best thing about teaching is "getting to know the children and families in our wonderful community."
Mrs. Sangeorzan is married and has 3 children. She enjoys spending time up north at her family cottage and relaxing by the lake. Her favorite color is blue, her favorite food is pizza, and in her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and snuggling their two kitties.

Mrs. Colucci, Teacher
This is Mrs. Colucci's 7th year of teaching. She went to Western Michigan University. She says the best thing about teaching is "seeing the world and making new discoveries through the eyes of my 3 and 4 year old students."
Mrs. Colucci and her husband, Tony, have three children, daughter, Grace, and two sons, Jack and Luke. Her favorite color is purple, her favorite food is tacos, and she enjoys reading and swimming at her cottage on Lake Wixom.
Mrs. Egnatios, Assistant
This is Mrs. Egnatios' 13th year of teaching. She went to college at Hjorring College of Education in Denmark. She says the best thing about teaching is "the kids - their joy, curiosity, and wonder."
Mrs. Egnatios and her husband, Mark, have one son, Simon. They love to visit new places and watch movies. Her favorite color is blue, her favorite food is pasta, and she enjoys cooking, and reading.

Mrs. Rupert, Teacher
This is Mrs. Rupert's 3rd year working as a Pre-K Teacher, she has spent 7 years as an Elementary Teacher. She went to college at Western Michigan University and holds a Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College. She says the best thing about teaching is "the students! I love seeing them make connections."
Mrs. Rupert and her husband Charlie have a son, Carter, and a daughter, Ellie. Her favorite color is blue, her favorite food is Thai food, and she enjoys gardening. She loves to watch her daughter fence & her son conduct the Rochester High School Marching Band as Drum Major.
Mrs. Ansari, Assistant
This is Mrs. Ansari's 2nd year with RCS Pre-K. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Science from India. She says the best thing about teaching is "to make a difference in kids' lives and watching them grow and change and I just really love how every little thing is so exciting for these kids."
Mrs. Ansari and her husband, Zahid, have been married for 21 years and they have 2 children, Amr and Zayaan. Their family enjoys camping, traveling, and exploring new places and foods. Her favorite color is white and she enjoys listening to music and relaxing in her backyard.

This is Mrs. Hammond's 22nd year of teaching and her 8th year with RCS Pre-K. She went to Humber College in Ontario, Canada where she earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. She says the best thing about teaching is "having fun while learning."
She has been married for over 25 years, has a son who attends Michigan State University, and an adorable boxer named Stella. Her favorite color is blue, her favoritefood is pizza, and she enjoys doing puzzles and watching her son play hockey.
Mrs. Muirhead, Assistant Teacher
This is Mrs. Muirhead's 7th year of teaching. She went to college at the University of Panama. She says the best thing about teaching is "helping and being a guide for children, to build their personality and confidence and to be prepared for life."
Her family is the most important thing in her life. Her favorite color is blue, her favorite food is rice & pork, and she enjoys painting and walking in her free time.

This is Mrs. Szymkiw's 4th year teaching preschool in RCS after six years of teaching elementary school. She went to college at Central Michigan University. She says that the best thing about teaching is "the new relationships and growth in a child."
Mrs. Szymkiw lives in Oakland Township with her husband and three daughters, Kyla, Sadie and Violet. Her favorite food is pasta and her favorite place to visit is Metamora, MI. She enjoys family time and relaxing outside.
