Rochester Community Schools uses Eleyo for all fee-based programs. This includes Pre-K, School Age Care (SAC), Enrichment, Athletics, and more.
Registration for 2021-2022 school will remain open until classes are full.
If the class section that you prefer is full, you may enroll in that class and be placed on a waiting list. At that time you will fill out all of the necessary information and enter your payment method, however, you will not be charged until you are added into the class. You will be contacted if an opening in your desired class section becomes available.
RCS Pre-K serves children ages 3-5.
Our Pre-K 3 classes serve children who turn 3 on or before December 1st of that school year.
Our Pre-K 4 classes serve children who turn 4 on or before December 1st of that school year.
We recommend that children who turn 3 on or before September 1st of that school year enroll into our Pre-K 3 classes.
We recommend that children who turn 4 on or before September 1st of that school year enroll into our Pre-K 4 classes.
Tuition is set as an annual tuition. We divide the total annual cost into equal payments for all programs so that families have a consistent invoice. This provides balance over the year rather than a large invoice for months with five weeks and a different invoice in months where there are only two weeks of school.
Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4, and Blended
10 equal installment payments. The first installment payment is due July 1st so that we are able to plan for staffing. After that installment payments are due:
September 1st October 1st November 1st December 1st January 1st February 1st March 1st April 1st May 1st
Full Day Pre-K
20 equal installment payments. The first installment payment is due August 1st so that we are able to plan for staffing. After that installment payments are due on the 1st and 15th of each month from August 15th - May 15th.
Pre-K @ Home
5 equal installment payments. The first installment is due July 1st so that we are able to plan for staffing. After that installment payments are due on the following dates:
September 1st November 1st February 1st April 1st
Families registering after September 1st must pay tuition balance prior to child attending first day of school.
Yes! Families interested in the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) are encouraged to complete a pre-eligibility application. GSRP is a free preschool program for children who turn 4 on or before September 1, 2021 and whose families meet eligibility guidelines.

The following policy is taken from our Parent Handbook:
Regardless of the precautions taken at home or school, your child may become ill during the course of the school year. If your child becomes ill you will be called and asked to pick up your child. If you are unavailable, we will call someone on your Emergency Card. The child should be picked up within one hour of being notified. If your child has been absent due to a contagious disease, such as strep throat or pink eye, you may be required to present a doctor's note documenting that the child is able to return to school.
There are times when a child should not be sent to school. These times include when a child has:
- A fever (temperature of 100 degrees or more)
- Child must be fever free for 72 hours (without fever reducing medication) in order to return.
- Diarrhea or vomiting
- Child must be symptom free for 24 hours in order to return.
- Discharge or redness of the eyes
- Discharge from the ear
- Green or yellow discharge from the nose
- Persistent or productive cough
- Sore throat
- Skin rash
- Ringworm (exclusion is not necessary unless the contact with others could promote spread), lice, hand-foot-mouth or any other communicable disease listed on the Oakland County Health Division Communicable Disease Reference Chart.
Parents must notify the school if a child has a communicable disease or an extended illness. When applicable, the school will notify families of an illness. A doctor's note for treatment of a communicable disease or an extended illness may be required for re-admittance to school.
If your child exhibits multiple symptoms of COVID-19, or possible exposure is suspected, or an individual tests positive for COVID-19, the individual must stay home until:
Has been fever free for at least 24 hours without the use of medicine that reduces fevers AND
Other symptoms have improved AND
At least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.

In the event of an extended vacation you have two options:
Continue to pay tuition so as to ensure your child's spot in the class upon your return.
Withdraw the child from the program. Per the Withdrawal Policy a 14 day notice is required. If there is space in your child's class when you return, you may register for the same class by calling the office at 248-726-3022.
Registration for the 2021-22 school year opened for Rochester families on 03/22/21 and out of district families on 08/02/21 and will remain open until classes are full.
There is a non-refundable registration fee of $75.00 per class (paid by credit card at the end of the online registration process).

You will need to enter the following information in order to complete your registration:
Emergency contact information (relationship to parent, relationship to child, if they reside with you, first and last name, phone number, address, and email address),
The date of your child's last DTaP shot.

WAIT LIST: All waiting lists are managed within the online system. Once a class is full you have the option to enroll in that class on a "Wait List". Please limit your request to two (2) alternate choices. You will be contacted if an opening in your desired class becomes available.
