There are many scholarships available. The challenge can sometimes be in finding them.

The links below include scholarships along with some search tools, however, also look at specific places to see if they offer scholarships.  This might include your parent/guardian's place of work, the bank or credit union where you have an account, and places where you shop; CVS, Wendy's, Home Depot....

Epilepsy UCB Scholarship Program

UCB will award 30 scholarships of up to $5,000 and 3 scholarships of up to $10,000 to people living with epilepsy, their family members, and caregivers pursuing higher education.

Applications for the 2021 scholarship program are due Monday, February 15, 2021. Please use the top navigation bar to access program details and FAQ for the 2021 program. Please check out the video library to see highlights of the first decade of the program and to hear from previous winners.


Scholarships are available for students who graduate from a public high school and plan to attend a Michigan public college or university or technical institution that grants a degree or certification.  These awards are based on academic achievement, extra-curricular activities and school/community service.  Applications are available at  Student must be a dependent of MEA member in good standing.
