The Rochester Community School District has developed a long-range strategic plan that calls for school improvement and professional development. The needs of students, as measured by student outcomes, drives the school improvement process (SIP).

The School Improvement Process entails decision-making at each school which respects and upholds the vision and mission of the entire school system. It also provides a vehicle for working toward State school accreditation. The plan calls for staff, parents and community to work together to improve their schools.
