Karen Gelardi

Karen Gelardi is the Executive Director of Instructional Practices, Grants, and School Improvement K-12. Mrs. Gelardi is a member of Michigan’s Title III Advisory Committee and MAS/FPS. She received her Bachelor’s degree from University of Detroit Mercy, Master’s from Cambridge College, and her Ed. Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Wayne State University. Prior to her role as a district administrator, she taught as an elementary teacher, Reading Recovery teacher, and an ESL consultant in the tri county area.

Karen Malsbury

Mrs. Malsbury has served Rochester Community Schools at Rochester High School for over 20 years, first as a technology facilitator and then as a Business teacher. Mrs. Malsbury has served at Oakland Schools ISD as a Referent Lead in Business and Accounting for the last 5 years and is active in the greater Rochester community through her association with the Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Development Authority. As a Business teacher, Karen has built strong relationships with multiple local businesses, nonprofits, and local government entities and is well positioned to take this vital area of the district into a new and exciting direction of career readiness and CTE. Mrs. Malsbury holds a BA from University of Wales, post Graduate Certificate of Education in Information Technology from Warwick University, and a Masters in Administration of Career and Technical Education from Western Michigan University. In addition to her degrees, Ms. Malsbury is certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator. When not in the community creating a career network, Malsbury can be found supporting her daughters, Hannah (16) and Holly (14) in their sporting endeavors, philanthropy, or career and technical student organizations at Stoney Creek High school or traveling the world with her husband, Simon.

Rachel Mainero

Rachel Mainero is an Instructional Technology Specialist, Google Certified Educator and Trainer, and an ISTE Certified Educator. In her role, she supports learners to leverage technology in innovative, collaborative, and transformative ways. She is passionate about designing learning experiences for students and teachers that fuel curiosity, spark creativity, and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Mainero earned a Master of Education in Instructional Design & Technology from Wayne State University. When she is not learning about or playing with technology, Mainero enjoys building Lego structures and exploring the outdoors with her sons and husband.

Shawn Filbin

Shawn Filbin is the Administrative Assistant for Secondary Curriculum.  In her role, she supports the Executive Director of Secondary Education, and all staff members involved in teaching and learning for grades 6 – 12.  She has worked for Rochester Community Schools since 2013 and enjoys serving as the liaison between the Curriculum Department and all middle and high schools in the district. 

Shawn graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities from the University of Colorado, Boulder.  She enjoys spending her free time knitting, reading, caring for her pets, and enjoying the beauty of the 4 seasons in Michigan.  Shawn has 3 children who graduated from Adams High School. 

Wendy Darga

Principal of Reuther Middle School

Ms. Darga first joined the Rochester Community Schools as a Social Studies/Language Arts teacher at Adams High School in 1989. While there, she served as an Assistant Varsity Softball coach and sponsored the Quiz Bowl team. In 1992, she transferred to Hart Middle School where she taught American History, Language Arts and Technology elective courses. She served as the yearbook advisor, coached basketball and was the Co-Chair of the School Improvement Committee. In 2011, she transitioned to administration serving as an Assistant Principal at Hart and West Middle Schools before becoming the Principal of Reuther Middle School in 2016. Ms. Darga holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Philosophy and English as well as a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Michigan State University. She has two children, Alexis and Mitchell, who have two dogs, Daisy and Hoss. Ms. Darga looks forward to another great year at Reuther where everyday is a great day to be a Crusader!

Lisa Fosnaugh

Principal of West Middle School

Before becoming West Middle School Principal, Mrs. Fosnaugh served as the Assistant Principal at both Van Hoosen and West Middle School in addition to serving in Rochester Community Schools as a high school science teacher. Mrs. Fosnaugh is passionate about Global Education and has had the unique ability to travel the world to study and learn from educational systems in Finland, Poland, China and Germany. Mrs. Fosnaugh holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Michigan State University and a Master's degree in Education Leadership from the University of Michigan. She and her husband, Jeff, have two children, Hannah and Michael.

Dan Mooney

Principal of Van Hoosen Middle School

Mr. Mooney joined Rochester Community Schools over eleven years ago, serving two years as the Assistant Principal of Van Hoosen Middle School and currently serves as the Principal of Van Hoosen. Prior to RCS, he taught Mathematics and Physical Education in Clarkston Community Schools. He holds degrees from Central Michigan University and University of Michigan-Dearborn. He and his wife Jen have three children, Finn, Graham and Ella.

Allison Roberts

Principal of Hart Middle School

Mrs. Roberts has been a building administrator for 16 years. She has served as High School Assistant Principal, High School Principal, and is a proud Hart Eagle serving the Hart community for the past 9 years. Prior to administration, Mrs. Roberts taught a variety of high school level courses in Macomb County, along with leading multiple student leadership groups and sponsoring several senior classes. Mrs. Roberts has chaired and served on a variety of committees, taught as an adjunct faculty member at Saginaw Valley State University and most recently completed Harvard’s Women in Leadership Program. Mrs. Roberts holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resources from Western Michigan University, a Master’s of Arts in Education from the University of Kentucky, and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University. 

Pasquale Cusumano

Principal of Adams High School

Before becoming Adams High School Principal, Mr. Cusumano worked as an Assistant Principal for 7 years and a High School Teacher for 8 years. Mr. Cusumano holds a Bachelors of Art in Education as a Spanish major and Physical Education minor from Wayne State University and a Masters degree in Education Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University. He and his wife Eugenia have two children, Alexa and Dario and reside in Oakland Township. Mr. Cusumano is extremely proud to say he's a Highlander!

Jeffrey Frankowiak

Principal of ACE and Virtual Campus

Mr. Jeff Frankowiak is proud to be serving Rochester Community Schools as the current principal of the Virtual Campus and the Alternative Center for Education (ACE). He is committed to fostering a school environment where students, staff, and families feel a sense of belonging. As a firm believer that culture drives student achievement, the primary focus for the Virtual Campus and ACE High school is to constantly grow and evolve in order for all of our students to reach their fullest potential. Prior to his current position Jeff has served in leadership roles in Residence Education at the University of Michigan, and as both a high school and elementary school principal. The 2022-2023 school year is a special one as his daughter will be entering Kindergarten in Rochester Community Schools.

Brian Shelson

Principal of Stoney High School

Brian Shelson joined the administrative team as an assistant principal at Stoney Creek in August 2017 and was named principal in July 2020. Mr. Shelson previously served as an assistant principal/athletic director at Grosse Pointe North High School and as an assistant principal/athletic director at Lapeer High School prior to coming to SCHS. Mr. Shelson's professional career includes working as a high school science teacher in the Widefield School District in Colorado Springs, CO., Plymouth Canton Community Schools, and the Gross Pointe Public School system. He has also worked at the University of Michigan in Undergraduate Admissions. Mr. Shelson earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University and his Master of Education degree from Saginaw Valley State University.

Josh Wrinkle

Principal of Rochester High School

Mr. Wrinkle first joined Rochester Community Schools as a science teacher at Adams High School in 2011. While at Adams, he was also a football and track coach, a science teacher leader, a member of the Adams professional development committee, and was part of the RCS District NGSS transition team. After serving as an Assistant Principal at RHS for four years, Mr. Wrinkle became Principal in the 2021-2022 school year. Mr. Wrinkle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Michigan State University, as well as an Education Specialist degree from Oakland University. He and his wife Sarah have two sons, Jack and Nick.

Kelley Cusmano

Kelley Cusmano is an English & Student Leadership Teacher at Rochester High School in Rochester, MI with 16 years of classroom teaching. She has a BA in English/History as well as a MA in Curriculum and Instruction and Administration from Michigan State University. She is the Rochester High Student Council Adviser and in March 2017 was named MASC Adviser of the Year. In addition, she is the teacher representative on the Michigan ASCD Board. Previously, she was an ASCD Emerging Leader (’16) and in 2018, she was part of a team of educators that organized the MI Governor’s Summit on Education and Talent. Currently, she also helps supervise the OU teaching interns at RHS. She has a husband, John as well as two amazing daughters Mia (9) and Annabel (11) who are the loves of her life.

Katie Hilarides

Mrs. Hilarides has been teaching for 11 years. She student taught and spent her first year teaching at Utica High School before moving to Battle Creek to teach at Harper Creek High School for six years. In 2018, she got the opportunity to move into Rochester Community Schools and she has been teaching ELA at Stoney Creek High School for the last four years. Along with being a teacher, she is also the varsity girls golf coach for Stoney Creek. Mrs. Hilarides holds both a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English and a Master’s degree in teaching and curriculum from Michigan State University. Her and her husband Al have two kids, Jeffrey and Erin, who are also students in Rochester Community Schools. Mrs. Hilarides is excited to spend another great year as a cougar at Stoney Creek.

Shevy Jacobson

Joining Rochester Community Schools four years ago, Mrs. Jacobson celebrates her 24th year teaching literacy to students from the elementary to the high school level. Her passion is sharing the joy of reading and writing with students and colleagues within and beyond the classroom. Over the years, her role as a teacher leader has evolved through collaborative professional learning experiences. She was recognized as the Oakland County Middle School Teacher of the Year and received the Nila Banton Smith Award from the International Literacy Association for her leadership in translating research and theory into practice. Mrs. Jacobson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Hope College, a Master’s degree in Reading from Oakland University, and an Education Specialist degree in Reading from Arkansas State University. She and her husband Rick are the proud parents of four young men and two daughters-in-law. Mrs. Jacobson is thrilled to serve as a collaborative member of the Secondary Instructional Leadership team.

Julie Reese

Mrs. Reese has been a teacher for 24 years and has spent the past 23 of them at Adams high school. During that time, she has served as a Teacher Leader, teacher mentor, curriculum/course developer, Student Council advisor, and volleyball coach. Mrs. Reese earned her Bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and her Master’s degree from Marygrove College. Most recently, Mrs. Reese has earned her National Board certification in English Language Arts for Adolescents and Young Adults. She and her husband, Eric, live in Grand Blanc with their two children, Madison and Cameron. She enjoys reading, travelling, and home décor/design. Mrs. Reese is dedicated to her students and school community and is looking forward to serving both in her new role.

Amy Hoekstra

Amy Hoekstra has been teaching middle school math for over 14 years at Reuther Middle School. She has been a leader in mathematics education in RCS as a teacher leader, curriculum designer, and school improvement team member. Mrs. Hoekstra holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in education technology from Saginaw Valley State University. She and her husband, Tim, live in Rochester Hills. They have two sons, Isaac and Levi, and one daughter, Addilynn. Mrs. Hoekstra is passionate about ensuring math classrooms are a place of thinking and belonging for all students.

Sue Rapp

Susan Rapp started her mathematics teaching career at Adams High School over 30 years ago. She is an alum of Rochester High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree in education from Western Michigan University. She holds a Masters in the Art of Teaching degree from Marygrove College. Susan has served as the RCS Secondary Mathematics Curriculum consultant for the past eight years. Mrs. Rapp has a passion for learning, enjoys traveling with her husband, reading, hiking, and spending her time with family and friends.

Craig Rizzi

Craig Rizzi has had the opportunity to serve Rochester Community Schools through a variety of instructional and leadership roles over the last ten years as a classroom teacher, math teacher leader, Math Mindset team member, and administrative intern. He currently teaches at Stoney Creek High School, where he has taught a combination of both intervention and advanced placement math courses. He is looking forward to using these experiences to serve the students and staff of Stoney Creek and RCS as a math curriculum leader.

Stefanie Shooks

Stefanie Shooks is a Mathematics Teacher at Rochester High School in with 17 years of classroom teaching experience. She has a BA in Mathematics/Group Social Studies from Alma College as well as a MA in Instructional Technology from Saginaw Valley State University. Stefanie is passionate about helping students be successful in mathematics by implementing early interventions for at-risk students and challenging advanced students to apply their knowledge to foster mathematical endurance and perseverance. Stefanie is currently engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Ryan and will be getting married this October.

Ashley Branoff-Lamberti

Mrs. Branoff is a science teacher at Adams high school where she has taught for the last 13 years. Prior to that she taught biology in Tanjung Malim, Malaysia. At Adams HS she has taught everything from AP Environmental Science and Microbiology/Genetics to general education Biology and Physical Science. She holds a Bachelor’s from Michigan State University in Biology and Earth Science and a Master’s degree also from MSU in Technology and Curriculum. She is a competitive athlete in CrossFit and loves to read. She and her husband currently live in Rochester and have three children. She is committed to continuing the high quality education provided by Rochester Community Schools.

Sara Rosell

Mrs. Rosell began her teaching career by spending 2 years as a teacher in Davison. She has been at RHS as a science teacher since 2008. She has served as a sponsor for the Robotics team and the Science Olympiad club as well as a Teacher Leader. Additionally, she serves as a liaison for Oakland University student teachers and has been a mentor teacher for interns in prior years. Mrs. Rosell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Zoology, with a minor in Chemistry as well as a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction all from Michigan State University. She loves spending time with friends and family, especially camping when the weather allows. Mrs. Rosell and her husband Jason live in Lake Orion with their two children, Addison and Everett. Curriculum and instructional best practices have always been a passion of hers and she is looking forward to learning from and working alongside colleagues to help the district grow in the coming years.

Sara Schymick

Sara began teaching during the 2006-2007 school year and has spent most of this time teaching middle school science and math. She has held many different teacher leader roles during these years and has had many opportunities to present at the local and state level. She earned a Bachelor of Science at Western Michigan University with a focus in elementary education, math and science. She also earned a Master of Educational Technology from Lawrence Tech University. She and her husband Marc have been blessed with two fabulous children, Lucas and Lizzie. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family in the mountains skiing during the winter and relaxing on the boat or the beach in the summer. She also loves to read and listen to audiobooks, and have family game nights.

Tricia Williams

Mrs. Williams first came from Big Rapids Middle School to Rochester Community Schools to teach eighth grade science at Hart Middle School. While at Hart, she was also the sideline and competitive cheer coach for the Hart Eagles. Williams moved to seventh grade science at West Middle School before landing at Stoney Creek High School in 2005. She has taught Integrated Physical Science, Biology and Chemistry for the past 17 years and has served as a teacher leader, part of the professional development committee, and worked as a part of an interdisciplinary instructional leadership team. In 2002, when Stoney Creek opened, Mrs. Williams began coaching the Varsity sideline and competitive cheer teams that she is still coaching today, leading them to two state championship titles in that time. Mrs. Williams holds a Bachelor’s degree of science from Western Michigan University and studied curriculum and instruction at Oakland University. She and her husband Todd have three children, Gabe, Nate and Izzy.

Katie Antrup

Ms. Antrup started in RCS as a volleyball coach at Stoney Creek High School in 2003. In 2007 she completed her student-teaching at Stoney Creek through Rochester College and was hired as a teacher in 2008 to teach History and English. Throughout her career she has written curriculum at the district, county, and national level and has served as a district Teacher Leader for World History. Ms. Antrup also has a Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. She currently teaches Big History and has been the Student Council Advisor at Stoney Creek since 2017. Ms. Antrup loves spending time with her family and being outdoors with her two kids, Leeland and Darby.

Jack Beall

Jack Beall has served the Rochester Adams students and community for 28 years. Jack began his career as a Special Education teacher, serving some of our district’s highest need students for 19 years. He then transitioned to the Social Studies department and has been a teacher of History for the past 9 years. Jack holds a Bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University in History, Physical Education, and Special Education, a Master’s degree in Administration from Oakland University and an Education Specialist degree from Wayne State University. Jack has coached football and wrestling for many years in RCS and in his hometown of Oxford as well. He is married to Sheri (24 years), and has three children; Jillian (21), Skylar (18), and Chase (15). Mr. Beall is also the Adams HS liaison for Oakland University for the Student Intern program (student teachers). Mr. Beall is looking forward to serving the students of RCS in his new role as a Social Studies Curriculum Leader.

Ginnie Holloway

Ginnie Holloway was a media specialist early in her career at Van Hoosen Middle School and West Middle School. In 2014, she transitioned back to the classroom and has taught US History since. The past two year she has enjoyed serving as the secondary social studies consultant for the district. She has been a member of the Board of Authors In April, has been a member of the social studies curriculum writing team at the Oakland Schools Intermediate School District, and organizes the 8th grade Washington DC trip. Mrs. Holloway holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a major in social studies, and a Master’s degree in Reading, both from Oakland University. She has also earned a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University and a Master’s degree in Education Leadership and Instructional Technology from The George Washington University in Washington DC. Mrs. Holloway is a life-longer learner, loves to travel, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Sarah Miesch

Sarah Miesch has been a Social Studies teacher at Rochester High School beginning in 2004. During her tenure at RHS she has served as teacher leader for Economics and American History, Assistant Theatre Director for over 30 shows, New Teacher Mentor, Club Sponsor, and Senior Class Advisor starting in 2012. Sarah earned her Bachelor’s Degree in History/ Political Science & Communications from Greenville University. She earned her Master’s in Secondary Social Studies Curriculum from Saginaw Valley State University. Sarah and her husband Todd, also a teacher at Rochester High School, have been married for 20 years and have three wonderful kiddos in the RCS district. When the Miesch family is not at a Rochester event they are usually at their church in Royal Oak.

Jennifer Diemert

Jennifer has spent her entire career teaching S.T.E.M. at Van Hoosen Middle School. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a focus on integrated science. She also completed her Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Michigan State University in 2020. Throughout her six years of teaching in Rochester Community Schools, she has been a volleyball coach and robotics advisor. Jennifer brings her joy of science, technology, engineering, and math to her students with engaging projects that focus on critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family relaxing on the boat or the beach in the summer, and walking her dog.

Elizabeth Arcangeli

Elizabeth Arcangeli has been teaching French and English at RHS for most of her career. This year, she is excited to join the West Middle School family! Arcangeli is the World Language Curriculum Consultant. She has lived in Australia and France, in addition to traveling throughout the world, including China with RCS.

Julie Schmidt

Mrs. Schmidt has been teaching middle school math for the past 16 years, 15 in Rochester Community Schools. During that time, she has served students in accelerated, on-level, support and co-taught classroom environments. She holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in Education with math and science minors from Calvin University. Her experiences as a teacher leader include developing, evaluating and aligning curriculum and courses, hosting professional learning opportunities, and presenting at state conferences. Mrs. Schmidt was selected as one of the 2021 RCS Excellence in Education Award recipients recognized for, “Excellent instructional techniques, building confidence in all children, kind and caring nature.” She and her husband Carl are the proud parents of four children ages 11, 9, 7 and 4. Mrs. Schmidt has a deep passion for collaborating with and supporting students and colleagues in their understanding and love for math. She is excited and looking forward to making a positive impact in her new role as the Middle School Math Coach.

Jill Gumz

Mrs. Gumz has been an educator in RCS for the past 18 years, teaching students in high school math and language arts. She has served students in teaching all core math classes, including honors level, AP, intervention, and co-taught classroom environments. Mrs. Gumz has a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Oakland University, with building and central office administration certifications, and a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. In addition to her work as a teacher leader, she has served as the Learning Consultant at Stoney Creek High School, the RCS District Math Curriculum Consultant, and a Track and Cross-Country Coach for SCHS. Her experiences as an educator and instructional leader include curriculum and course development and implementation, leading professional learning opportunities, and creating systems of intervention at the course, building, and district levels. Mrs. Gumz has presented at local, state, and national conferences, and is the recipient of a 2020 PTSA Founder’s Award and multiple Sparkle Awards She and her husband Chris both graduated from Rochester High School and have two children who currently attend Rochester Community Schools. She is passionate about teaching, learning, and supporting students! Mrs. Gumz is excited to serve and collaborate as the High School math coach to support all students in math and learning!

Erica Buchholz

Erica Buchholz began her career in education in 2005 in Laurel, Maryland, where she spent five years teaching high school English. At the start of the 2010 school year, she moved to the middle school level. In 2013, Mrs. Buchholz began serving as a building interventionist in the Lakeview Public School District in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, where she worked until 2016 when she joined the staff of Van Hoosen Middle School as a seventh grade language arts teacher. Mrs. Buchholz is grateful for the opportunities in her teaching career that have allowed her to teach and support English/language arts students in grades six through eleven. Mrs. Buchholz holds a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Western Michigan University and a Master’s degree in Reading/Language Arts K-12 from Oakland University. Married for 11 years, Mrs. Buchholz and her husband Nick have two sons, Henry and Max and a dog named Tex. Outside of school, Mrs. Buchholz enjoys running, supporting her sons in their athletics and activities, and advocating for animal rescue and well-being.

Matt Kerstein

Matthew Kerstein has been teaching in Rochester Community Schools for 18 years. He has taught at Baldwin Elementary, McGregor Elementary, and is currently at Reuther Middle School teaching English language arts to 6th graders. Mr. Kerstein has taught second through seventh grades. His experiences working with early literacy, teaching multiple curriculums and working with children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds has led to his development of an array of instructional approaches. Mr. Kerstein holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Oakland University and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of Michigan. He and his wife Angela have two wonderful children Viola and Felix who attend Meadowbrook Elementary.

Darlene Lovalvo

Darlene Lovalvo joined the Rochester School Community 28 years ago. Her journey began as an Elementary Teacher and continued into the wonderful world of Middle School English Language Arts. Her passion is to explore the world of reading and writing, promote a sense of self-worth and encourage a positive growth mind set among students and staff. While fulfilling her role as a teacher, Mrs. Lovalvo discovered the importance of providing intervention opportunities in order to ensure that all students experience success and recognize their value as language learners. Mrs. Lovalvo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University and a Master’s degree in Reading from Oakland University. She and her husband, David, are the proud parents of two children, Jack and Sydney. Mrs. Lovalvo is motivated and excited to serve as an Interventionalist Coach of the Secondary Instructional Leadership team.

Jennifer Muscillo

Jennifer Muscillo is a 6th & 7th grade ELA teacher from Hart Middle School. She has a Master’s in Reading from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. She has taught for 22 years and in that time has taught multiple grade levels. She taught Elementary for 12 years and then moved to Middle School where she found her passion. During her last 10 years as an educator she taught 6th, 7th & 8th grade Language Arts and Reading Intervention to struggling readers. In 2015, she was awarded the “Middle School Teacher of the Year” award in another district. She has been working for Rochester Community Schools for the last five years at Hart Middle School and has a passion for instilling a love for reading in her students.

Kitty Bodell

Mrs. Bodell has been a teacher at Reuther Middle School for over 24 years. During that time she has served as a 6th grade math teacher, math interventionist, and teacher leader. Mrs. Bodell has also been the Student Council advisor for over 18 years. She earned her Bachelor’s in Education from Oakland University with a focus on Math and Science and her Master’s degree from Marygrove College. Mrs. Bodell is motivated by igniting her student’s love for math and by creating a culture of learning, respect, and fun. She is excited to be of service to her students and colleagues in her new role.

Jojo Dosch

Since 1996, Mrs. Dosch has proudly taught in the math department at Hart Middle School. While at Hart, she has been actively involved in multiple committees such as coaching, clubs, and teacher leader. She has also presented at the district, county and state levels. Her pedagogical practice has diverse influences and is strongly grounded in discussion-based learning. This mathematical practice develops a deeper understanding and stronger mathematical thinkers by creating a mental residue that focuses on the why versus the how. Mrs. Dosch has a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University as well as a master's degree from Oakland University. In her personal life, she enjoys family time centering around outside activities such as kayaking, ATV riding, and fishing.

Shannon Kraegel

Mrs. Kraegel is a math teacher at West Middle School. She previously taught high school math and physics at Troy High, as well as worked as an engineer. Mrs. Kraegel graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering, and then went on to get her Masters of Secondary Education with a double major in math and physics from The University of Michigan. But she will always be a Spartan! She is married and has two sons and lives in Rochester.

Brittney Rossier

Brittney Rossier is starting her 9th year of teaching. Her career began at Hart Middle School where she was a resource teacher for three years. She then moved to Van Hoosen Middle School and started teaching 6th and 7th grade math. Rossier holds a bachelors in Special Education Learning Disabilities K-12 with a minor in Mathematics from Michigan State University. She also received a Masters in Special Education from Wayne State University. She and her husband live in Macomb with their one year older daughter Hunter and their dog Kia.
