Please show your support for our school by becoming a part of the PTA for the 2017-18  school year.

as well as the entire staff of Baldwin,
become members of our PTA.

Thanks for your support!

What is the PTA?

PTA or Parent Teacher Association is defined as “an organization of local groups of teachers and the parents of their pupils that works for the improvement of the schools and the benefit of the pupils.” (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)

What do we do?
The PTA affords parents, teachers, and community members the opportunity to work together to improve the lives of children through services and programs that address health, education, and social concerns. Baldwin’s PTA organizes volunteers for a variety of programs and classroom assistance. We also provide financial support through fundraising and community rewards.

Why should I join?
This is a great way to learn more about Baldwin (what is going on at the school, in the district, and at the state level), get connected with other parents, and get involved with your child’s education. Becoming a member does not mean that you have to do anything. At minimum, you will receive Baldwin PTA emails to stay in the know about all kinds of events, such as the Daddy Daughter Dance, World Tour and the NEW Talent Show.

How can I get involved?
There are MANY ways to get involved with the PTA. You could become a member. We work to fill in the gaps through funding school enrichment programs, community events, and grants to teachers. Attend PTA meetings. We hold general meetings every other month during the school year and we would love it if all parents could attend. Volunteer. We have many great events throughout the year, but we can't make them happen without your help! Volunteering can be as much or as little of a time commitment as you are able to give. You can volunteer in the classroom, at school, from home, on weekdays, evenings, or weekends. There are volunteer opportunities that will fit everyone’s schedule.

None of this is possible without YOUR involvement and support.

Please become a member of the PTA!
