On Dec. 11, 2018 the Rochester Adams Chamber Choir and the Van Hoosen 7/8 Choir combined forces with the Highlander Brass to present a winter concert of choral classics, seasonal songs and holiday favorites. It was a wonderful opportunity for family and friends to hear some wonderful music-making as students presented their second marking period work in front of a very full sanctuary space at University Presbyterian Church. The choir program is very grateful to the church for use of their beautiful space specifically designed for music. The concert began with a brass prelude and concluded with a holiday favorites sing-a-long conducted by Santa, himself! The concert also featured the Van Hoosen choir sharing music about snow, sleigh rides, and a winter storm. The AHS choir featured selections based on Latin texts, Good Ale and even a recipe for Fruitcake?

The choirs next performances will be in February in the Adams Performing Arts Center.
