Forty-two Adams Business Professional of America students not only competed, but gave back at the 2018 Regional Competition held at Baker College in Auburn Hills. During a day of computerized tests, team events, individual presentations and speeches, Adams students were able to participate in several charitable breakout activities. As a region, 156 care packages and valentines treats were made for Blessings in Backpack, nine fleece blankets were hand tied for Children's Hospital, dog toys were made for the humane society, over 70 letters were written to active Military personnel, over 100 book marks were made for kindergarten students, 132 valentine candy jars were made for seniors in assisted living and to top it all off, over 1300 books were donated to Little Free Library around metro Detroit. Overall, 25 students from Adams, which included nine first place individual and team winners, qualified to represent Region 4 at the State Leadership Conference in Grand Rapids.
