In partnership with Oakland University, and in support of the strategic plan, RCS welcomed 17 Saudi Arabian educators and their families into our schools as part of the Galileo Saudi Arabia Leadership Project. These educators spent the past six months on behalf of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Education and as part of their National Transformation Plan 2030 learning and studying the educational system within RCS. The purpose of their immersion into our education system is to gain insight into American culture and schools, build expertise and skills for leading instructional change, and increase their confidence in communicating in English and learning about another culture, particularly in an educational setting.
