Evergreen School

We are happy to announce that Recyclebank selected the green project proposed by the Adams PTSA Green Schools Committee as a finalist!

This project is for four new extra large recycling bins for the cafeteria. This means that Adams HS is eligible to receive full funding for the project IF they can raise enough Recyclebank points!

Each day, numerous recyclable items in our cafeteria go in the trash cans. The availability of recycling containers in our cafeteria will make a BIG difference in reducing items going into our community landfill. For every 250 points that are donated to Recyclebank, $1 will go toward our goal of raising $1,557 for these recycling containers.

Here’s how you can help: if you live in Rochester Hills, sign up to donate your Recyclebank points to the Adams project. Spread the word also to friends and family in the area! If they’re not already Recyclebank members, all they have to do is sign up and start earning points online in order to donate. We have until MARCH 19th to get as many points as possible. Please help us spread the word as we try to make our schools and our community a cleaner, greener place! You can learn more about the projects at

Flags at Adams2

common area

International flags representing the many nationalities of our Adams Family are flying high in the cafeteria this year!

Check out the new collaborative furniture funded by the PTSA. Teachers will reserve the area for their classes to work on projects and students will enjoy the soft seating, tables and plug-in stations. It is located in the area overlooking the cafeteria (formerly, the Junior area).
