Congratulations again to our talented students!

Since 1969, the Reflections program has encouraged millions of students across the nation and in American Schools overseas to explore their artistic talents by creating works of art for fun and for recognition. Annually, hundreds of thousands of students participate in the Reflections program through their local PTAs.

It’s time again for our PTA “Reflections” program! This year’s theme is “Heroes Around Me” ALL STUDENTS are invited and encouraged to express themselves in one or more of the following categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts.

Below is a “Student Packet” that contains additional information, official rules entry form and consent form. A separate Entry Form needs to be completed for each entry your child submits. Students can enter as many times in as many categories as they wish. Feel free to make copies of this form if your child would like to submit more than one entry.

DEADLINE for entries is Friday, November 2, 2018! Please note that each RCS school selects its own entry deadline. If you have students attending other schools, their deadlines will differ. Completed entries (with the Student Entry Form attached) should be dropped off in the “Reflections” box in the main office on or before November 2. Artwork placing 1st or 2nd will advance to the district level, and from there, possibly to the state and national levels! Once again, as you may know, expressing your creativity through the arts is a wonderful way to build confidence and academic success for our students! “Reflections” is a PTA-sponsored event.

Thank you for your participation! Your “Reflections” Chair Christine Jacobson - adams.reflections.pta@gmail.com
