What can I do with Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 provides students and staff with powerful tools to support learning, collaboration, and productivity. With your school account, you can:

  • Communicate & Connect – Use Outlook for email, Teams for video meetings and chat, and shared calendars to stay organized.

  • Collaborate in Real Time – Create, share, and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint—together, from any device.

  • Store & Share Files – Save your work securely in OneDrive and easily share with classmates, colleagues, or teams.

  • Create & Organize Learning – Use OneNote for digital notebooks, Forms for surveys and quizzes, and tools like Sway for interactive presentations.

  • Access Anywhere – Work from school, home, or on the go, with cloud-based access on laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, and phones.

How is Microsoft 365 Different from Google?

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace both provide cloud-based tools for learning and collaboration, but they differ in style. Microsoft 365 offers feature-rich Office apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with both desktop and online versions, plus Teams for communication. Google Workspace focuses on simple, web-based tools like Docs, Sheets, and Slides, designed for quick, real-time collaboration in the browser.
