Registration is easy via online, phone or in person. Please do not send registrations to your child’s school. If you would like your child to attend a BASES class at a different school, parents are responsible for providing transportation between schools. Classes do fill quickly, so register early to avoid disappointment! Registration closes at 12pm (noon) two business days prior to the start of the first class, so register now!

BASES classes run throughout the school year. Fall classes are generally held from September through December and  Winter/Spring classes are generally run from early February through April. The classes generally run for 1 hour a week and begin 5 minutes after school is dismissed.

Financial aid may be available. Call (RAYA) Rochester Area Youth Assistance at 248-656-3558 as soon as possible, as the process takes some time.

• Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the start of class will receive a full refund, minus a $10 processing fee.•Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the start of class will receive a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee.

• Cancellations made after the start of the second class will not receive a refund.

• Cancellations made due to an emergency will receive a pro-rated refund minus a $10 processing fee, if approved by the Enrichment Department.

There are no makeup dates for individual students. However if class must be cancelled by Rochester Community Schools, class make-up dates are built into our class schedules and families will be notified within 2-3 days, via email, of the rescheduled class date.
In the event that a make-up date is utilized, no refunds or transfers will be given if a child cannot attend the make-up date.

Do not bring any food items of any kind to our BASES classes, unless medically necessary and approved by the Enrichment department prior to the program start date. 

School rules and the Student Code of Conduct apply for BASES classes. If a student’s behavior is inappropriate, their parent or guardian will be notified to pick them up immediately. If a second incident occurs, the student will be removed from all remaining sessions and no refund will be given.

Children cannot walk home from BASES class. You, or another designated adult, must be on time to pick up children. BASES cannot guarantee supervision after class.

If parents are late picking up their child, they will be charged $20 for the first 15 minutes, and $10 for each 15 minutes thereafter. An invoice will be emailed and full payment must be paid prior to attending the next scheduled session.  

Students must be at least 5 years old AND enrolled in Kindergarten (not Transitional Kindergarten), unless otherwise specified.

The Enrichment Department handles the registration for intramurals. Please call or go online to register – Do not turn in registrations to the Main Office. Registration is first come-first served, so promptness is important. Most intramurals will run once a week from 2:30 – 3:30 for 5 sessions, however, the dates and times for each intramural are listed with the class description.

School rules apply for all intramural classes. If a student’s behavior is inappropriate, he/she may be asked to report to the office and call home to be picked up early. If a second occurrence of inappropriate behavior occurs, a student may be removed for the duration of the sessions. A refund will not be issued.
