Enrollment for the 2024-25 school year is open
Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year will remain open throughout the current school year
Once you have read through the following information and gathered all of the required enrollment documents please scroll to the bottom of the page and select either "New Family Enrollment Process" or "Current or Returning RCS Family Enrollment Process" to submit your online enrollment.
All enrollments are submitted online through ParentVUE
We cannot process enrollments without ALL required documentation
All enrollments must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
If, during the online enrollment, you select "I will provide a hard copy to the Student Enrollment Department instead of uploading it" for any of the required documents, please reach out to the Enrollment Department either via email (RCSEnrollment@rochester.k12.mi.us) or phone (248-726-3166) to discuss missing document submission. Registrations submitted without all required documentation will be reactivated to your ParentVUE account after two school days if you have not contacted us. You can then re-submit the enrollment when you have the required documents. Your enrollment will not be processed until we have received all of the required documents.
If your address has changed, you will need to upload the new proofs of residency during the enrollment process. You will not be able to change your address during your online enrollment. The enrollment office will update your address when they process your enrollment.
All Transitional Kindergarten (TK) placements must be pre-approved. If you are interested in enrolling in TK please visit the Transitional Kindergarten webpage and complete the TK Placement form prior to submitting your enrollment. TK enrollments will not be processed until placement is approved by the Curriculum Department.
If you stop the enrollment process and log out, online registration saves the entered information. You can click Resume Registration or Start Over next time you log in to resume your online registration.
Rochester Community Schools reserves the right to verify documentation provided at the time of enrollment. Enrollment may be delayed during the verification process.
Required Enrollment Documents
Please have the following required documents in digital form before you start the online registration process.
Enrollments cannot be processed without the following 5 documents. For more information on required documents click on the tabs below.
Certified copy of your child's birth certificate. Must be in English.
Proof of home ownership (current property tax statement or Property Transfer Affidavit if you have just purchased a new home) or current lease (must include signature page of lease.)
Current gas or electric bill showing the date, address and parent's name
Up-to-date immunization records in English
Current parent driver's license or passport

Please do not create a new account if you already have an account. If you create a new account you will not be able to view information for student's currently enrolled, or for any student previously enrolled.
Current or returning families, please login to your ParentVUE account using the link below. If you've forgotten your password, you can click on "Forgot Password" and you will receive an email to create a new password.
Parents enrolling their first child in the district will be able to see the status of the enrollment when accessing their ParentVUE account.
Parents with currently enrolled students will be able to see the status of their new enrollment application by selecting the "Online Registration" tab in the upper right corner of ParentVUE.
