The content is created for general educational and informational purposes to provide updates, celebrate excellence and provide windows into the life of RCS buildings. Season 2, episode 1: Back-to school 2026
The month of August is officially recognized as the start of back-to-school season. We are talking with educators and administrators about the excitement that centers around this time of year, as well as the new 2026 guidelines for the use of mobile devices and electric bikes and electric scooters.
Season 1, episode 7: Summer Music Theatre 2026
Since 1973, Rochester Community Schools has been offering Broadway-style productions through its Summer Music Theatre program. A different theatrical production is offered each year, providing students with the opportunity to study the process on stage, in the pit, and behind the scenes.
Season 1, episode 6: Tri-High Charity Week
Each year, student council leaders from Adams, Rochester and Stoney Creek high schools organize a combined Charity Week to raise money for a cause that’s important to them. In 2026, RCS donated over $86,000 to Samsmile for mental health advocacy and suicide prevention efforts.
