Dear Students and Parents/Guardians:

If you are new to West Middle School – WELCOME!! If you are a current family, we can't wait to see you again! We would like the start of our 2013-2014 school year to go as smoothly as possible. So, in this letter we have highlighted some of the important items that will contribute to that smooth transition. Let's begin with the Student Registration Day.

Student Registration

Student registration is an important day for all students to attend, and is scheduled for:

Friday, August 23

  • 8:30 – 11:00 a.m. – 6th grade students last name beginning A – L – Cafeteria
  • 12:00 – 2:30 p.m. – 6th grade students last name beginning M – Z – Cafeteria

Monday, August 26

  • 8:30 – 11:00 a.m. – 7th grade students – Cafeteria
  • 12:00 – 2:30 p.m. – 8th grade students – Cafeteria

At registration, students will pick up their schedule, order a yearbook (optional and can be done on-line), have picture taken and receive their locker assignment as well as turn in several forms and documents. The PTSA will also have tables set up for you to turn in membership forms, pick-up calculators, locker pals, and SpiritWear that was ordered, etc.

Late registration (for students unable to come on August 23 or August 26) will be Thursday, August 29th from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Unfortunately, you will not be able to have your picture taken at that time. The additional date for pictures to be taken for students unable to attend registration is scheduled for Thursday, September 5th.
