Mrs. Lisa Kelley~Media Specialist
Welcome to the University Hills Media Center!
For those of you who are wondering "what in the world is a media specialist?", the answer is a teacher with a master's degree in information and library science, as well as, a special state certification that allows me to teach information literacy skills to any age group.
The media center is the perfect place to explore both the worlds of literature and information that are available to us through both print and technologic resources. It is my job to make sure that our students are savvy consumers of the information that they find. To that end, the media center is a place where students learn not "what" to think, but rather "how" to think, with a focus on critical thinking.
Thank you for your continued support of the media center through your time and efforts to support the S.O.S. (Stock Our Shelves) Fund. Our collection is growing and our circulation is up, way up!
