Sandra Srabian, Interim Principal
Mrs. Srabian has been in education for over thirty years having served the majority of those years in the Rochester Community Schools. Mrs. Srabian has been a teacher, guidance counselor, assistant principal, principal, consultant, and director. Mrs. Srabian has received numerous awards over the years, but the Sunrise Pinnacle Award given to her through the Rochester Chamber of Commerce, presented by Oakland University in 2011, as Educator of the Year, is one of her greatest achievements. Mrs. Srabian earned her teaching credentials in an undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan and a Masters in Guidance and Counseling from Wayne State University. She furthered her education by receiving a specialist degree in Education & Technology from Oakland University. While enrolled in the doctoral program at Michigan State University Mrs. Srabian received her administration credentials.
Mrs. Srabian, her husband, and two children have resided in Rochester for over 20 years. Both of her children graduated from Adams High School and are gainfully employed. Her daughter, Shavara, a graduate of U of M, received her MBA and works in finance in Manhattan, N.Y. Her son, Jonathan, a graduate of Purdue University is an electrical engineer and works in Manhattan Beach, CA.

John R. Kelley, Assistant Principal
Mr. Kelley is in his 6th year at Stoney Creek and his 17th year in education. Prior to joining Stoney Creek, Mr. Kelley spent a year as assistant principal at Hart Middle School. Before that, Mr. Kelley taught Spanish, Speech, and Computer classes for Rochester Community Schools after beginning his teaching career with Chippewa Valley Schools. As a teacher, Mr. Kelley coached basketball, softball, and was involved with several committees and clubs. Mr. Kelley joined the field of education after spending time working for Chrysler in the Midwestern United States and Mexico.
Mr. Kelley received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, secondary teaching certification from Oakland University, and his Master's degree from Wayne State University. He also completed the Oakland Schools Aspiring Principals Leadership Academy program. His wife is also an educator and they have two daughters, one in middle school and one in elementary school. Mr. Kelley and his family are proud residents of the Rochester community.
Amanda McKay, Ph.D, Assistant Principal
Dr. McKay enters her fourth year as an assistant principal at Stoney Creek. Previously, Dr. McKay works with the classes of 2015 and 2017. Prior to joining the Rochester Community Schools team, Dr. McKay was a middle school principal and high school assistant principal in the Lake Shore Public School district for five years. Dr. McKay also taught English and Social Studies at Lake Orion High School.
Dr. McKay earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences with a minor in English while also earning her secondary teaching certification. While teaching in Lake Orion, Mrs. McKay earned her Master's Degree in K-12 Administration from MSU. Recently, Dr. McKay completed her Ph.D. program in K-12 Administration at MSU.
Dr. McKay and her husband have lived in the Rochester community for 11 years. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the school district and community in which she lives and where her two sons will attend school. Her oldest son enters Hugger Elementary this school year and she is excited to be the mom of a kindergarten student!
