AES Engineer Scholarship

The consulting firm of AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students. This award is available to all students, regardless of their field of study.

AreaVibes is offering a scholarship.  It would be suitable for anyone enrolled as a full-time high school student or enrolled in any other accredited institute of higher learning. Auto Loan Scholarship

One scholarship worth $1000 will be awarded to help a student achieve his goals of furthering his education. Selection of the recipient is based on the creative video entry. HOW TO APPLY:

1. Create your video(2-5 minute video in which you explain how new ideas will shape the world around us, and why education is the key to creating a brighter future).

2. Upload your video to YouTube and title it “Auto Loan Scholarship Program by ”

Community Foundation for Southeast MI

The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan offers dozens of scholarship funds for graduating high school seniors.

Detroit Association of University of Michigan Women

Detroit Association of University of Michigan Women  is dedicated to supporting women who attend the University of Michigan through scholarships, mentoring and networking. The DAUMW is committed to serving the community and promoting education.  There are 3 $1000 scholarships available.  Applications are in the counseling office and the deadline is April 9.

Huntington Ford Scholarship

Huntington Ford of Rochester Hills has established a scholarship for an incoming freshman student at Oakland University. The student chosen to receive this award will be selected from eligible students who have attended one of four area high schools, including Rochester Adams High School, Avondale High School, Rochester High School, and Stoney Creek High School.

This is a full tuition scholarship awarded to applicants.  For this scholarship award must be an incoming, full­-time freshman for Fall 2018 with financial need, and a demonstrated passion for a specific area of study or extracurricular interest. Applicants must have a minimum 3.30 cumulative high school grade point average in order to apply.

The MRA scholarship competition will offer 19 Scholarships  from $1000-$2000 and it is not based on financial need.  To be eligible your parent must be employed at a business that is a member of MRA.  Applications are available at http://www.retailers.com (Under Education and events tab).  Applications must  submitted by April 2, 2018

Michigan State University Alumni Club of Oakland County

Michigan State University Club of Oakland County Scholarships is available to Oakland County High School Seniors accepted to MSU and plan to attend for 2018-2019 school year. $1,500 is available and all applications are due no later than March 23. This scholarship is not awarded on the basis of financial need but is based on grades, test scores, recommendations and comments. Applications are available in the counseling office or www.msuoakland.com

Ohio and Michigan Association of Career Colleges and Schools

Ohio and Michigan Association of Career Colleges and Schools is offering scholarships that will help prepare Michigan's Work Force for tomorrows jobs.  You must be nomintated by a local civic or community leader.  More information is in the counseling office or at www.omaccs.org

Oakland University Merit Scholarships

The REA is offering a $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one senior from each high school.  Applications are available in the counseling office and must be returned to the REA Offices no later than April 16.

Realtors Association Scholarship Fund

Rochester Tuesday Musicale Scholarships

The Rochester Tuesday Musicale will be holding its annual music scholarship auditions.  Due to scheduling restrictions, the number of applications permitted to audition will be limited and scheduled in the order in which applications are received.  Applications are available in the counseling office.  Must be postmarked by 3/9 and auditions will be held 3/24.  For information contact tenormary@hotmail.com

Rosa Parks Scholarship Foundation

The Rosa Parks Scholarship Foundation offers a $2,000, non-renewabl scholarship to graduating seniors based on leadership, financial need, and dedication to the civil rights principles of Rosa Parks.  Applications must be post marked by March 1, 2018 and are available at rosaparksscholarship.org more information is in the counseling office.


Society of Women Engineers - Detroit Section

The Detroit Section of the Society of Women Engineers annually recognizes high school females who have shown exemplary abilities in areas such as leadership, academics, and community activities.  SWE Detroit annually awards over $5,000 in scholarships to exceptional high school senior women who intend to pursue a college degree in engineering.

The scholarship application must be filled out by the student (and signed by a counselor) and postmarked by March 1, 2018.  Applications are available in the counseling office.

SWE, at a national level, also has many scholarships for outstanding high school female students. This application form can be found on the National SWE website: www.swe.org.
