Club Activities and Events
Getting involved with a club is a great way to meet new people with similar interests and create fun high school memories!
All RHS students are welcome and encouraged to be a part of a club.
It's never too late to join one! Read below to find out how.
Club Activities
RHS Green Club: The Green Club's Electronics Recycling Event was a HUGE success! RHS filled TWO semi-trucks!
RHS Art Club: Art students decorated Halloween cookies and made twistband bracelets at their October meeting.

RHS Rotary Interact: During the first weekend in October, Rotary Interact students volunteered for the Rochester Police Department to help raise money for the family of fallen West Bloomfield Police Officer Patrick O'Rourke and his family. The event was held at Long Meadow Elementary and raised $12,000.

- Astronomy Club Meets Thursdays @ 2:35 in F206 with Mrs. Smith
- BPA: Business Professionals of America Meets Thursdays @ 2:35 in B103 with Mrs. Gambaro and Mrs. Malsbury
- Dance Team Practices Tuesdays @ 2:45-4:45 and Thurs/Fridays 2:45-5:00 in the cafeteria with Ms. Hornacek

- Film & Photography Club Meets Fridays @ 2:35 in F106 or A109 with Mr. Kowal
- Green Club Meets Thursdays @ 2:35 in B127 with Mr. Shurter
- Ping Pong Club Meets Fridays @ 2:35 at the Livernois Mall entrance with Ms. Phillips
- Quiz Bowl Meets Thursdays @ 2:35 in B120 with Mrs. Kuslits
- Robotics Club Meets Tuesdays starting Oct. 2nd from 6:00-9:00 in B137/B140 with Mrs. Rosell
- Rochester Alliance of Theatrical Students (aka RATS) Meets Wednesdays @ 2:35 in the Auditorium with Mr. Gollon
- Ski & Snowboard Club Bus departs for Pine Knob on Tuesdays starting in December at 4:00 with Mrs. Malsbury; returns to RHS at 8:30--see link below for specifics. Additional fees for bus, lift tickets, and rentals apply.
The fee for participation in any of the after-school clubs listed above is $30 per club.
World Language Clubs:

The fee for participation in any of the after-school clubs listed above is $30 per club.

Service club members are not charged the $30 club fee.
Additional Clubs Offered:
- Beyond Grace A Christian club that encourages all students to support to one another and participates in service activities. Meets Wednesdays in room C001 off the mall @ 2:35 with Mrs. McCune
- Muslim Student Association Meets Fridays @ 2:35 in B105 with Mrs. Arcangeli
- Spectrum Club Meets Thursdays @ 2:35 in the Counseling Office with Mrs. Messing-Mirabito
Club members in this section are not charged the $30 club fee.
To Join:

Download and complete a student Club Fee Contract.

Turn in the contract and a club fee payment of $30 to the club teacher-sponsor (listed above) in the form of cash, check, or credit card (see "To Pay" below). Each club you join requires a contract and additional $30 payment. You can choose to join a club at any time during the year!
To Pay:

Turn in cash and check payments to the club sponsor with your completed club fee contract.

Credit card payments may be made online using the RCS Online Payment Site at rochester.augusoft.net -- click on the "School Fees" button. Print a copy of your receipt and turn it in to the club sponsor with your contract.
Additional Fee Information:

A waived fee or a 75% reduction in the club fee is available to students who qualify for free or reduced lunch.

Some clubs may require additional participation fees and/or supply expenses to be paid as activities arise during the school year.
