Homework Requests:
Click the button below to request homework if your child is missing school from an approved absence or is receiving intervention assistance. 48 hours notice is required please.

Transcript Requests:
Make an online request to have a copy of your transcript through Parchment Secure Transcript by clicking on the button below:Request your Transcript from Parchment - Leader in eTranscript ExchangeClick on "Sign Up" to create a free account and have a credit card ready for payment. For additional help, see complete instructions here.

  • Allow 1-3 business days for requests to be processed.
  • Once a transcript has been sent, Parchment Secure Transcript will send you a confirmation email that your transcript was sent and again to confirm a college has received it.
  • You may also request a transcript be mailed. Confirmation is given that it was sent, but not that it was received.
  • RHS cannot fulfill requests to send ACT or SAT test scores to colleges. Request those directly from the testing agency, www.actstudent.org or www.satcollegeboard.org.

Tools for Planning Your Coursework at RHS:

Students are encouraged to use this Four Year Course Selection Planning Form to assist their selection of courses throughout their high school years.
(Note: Graduation requirements for the class of 2016 and beyond include 2 credits in a world language.)

Standardized Testing Information:

    To log in and see SAT, PSAT, or AP test scores, create an account at College Board https://www.collegeboard.org/.  This is the company that creates the SAT, PSAT, and AP tests.  
    How to Send Your SAT Scores to Colleges:  Download this screen-by-screen handout that walks you through the College Board site and how to get your scores sent to the colleges of your choice. Request up to 4 colleges free until May 16, 2016.  After that time period, there is a fee.
    SAT re-takes:  If you access the College Board site to sign up to retake the SAT, you may need a registration code. Please obtain one in the counseling office if you are not able to use demographic information to match through your College Board account.  No College Board account?  Create one and follow the steps to input your information
    SAT scores:  Available on your College Board account (create one if you don't have one) starting May 18, 2016.  Type in your demographic information and your account will connect to your SAT score through your demographic information if it doesn't automatically load.  If you have difficulty, please call the student hotline at 877-756-7346.  
    PSAT scores:  Available on your College Board account (create one if you don't have one) starting May 18, 2016.  Type in your demographic information and your account will connect to your PSAT score through your demographic information if it doesn't automatically load.  If you have difficulty, please call the student hotline at 866-433-7728.

College Information:

  • College Planning:  See our College Planning Resources page for many free resources to help you make decisions about college. Resources include information on selecting a college, financial aid, detailed information on Michigan colleges, and a campus visit checklist.
  • Financial Aid:  This page of Financial Aid Tips and Resources consists of helpful video overviews, links, FAFSA information, scholarship tips, and more.
  • Applying for Financial Aid:  NextGenVest Money Mentors provides free help with the process of receiving financial aid for college. Students can text the service for personalized help and sign up for text reminders of important deadlines.
  • Scholarships: Visit the Scholarships page to see a list of recent scholarship offerings that have come to the Counseling office.
  • College Visits: Many colleges have representatives that visit RHS to provide information and answer questions. Go to the RHS College Visits sign up page to attend any of these presentations. We especially encourage juniors to sign up to assist them in their college search.

  • Career Cruising  Used by RHS counselors with all RHS students for exploring careers suited to their interests and aptitudes. Parents and students are also encouraged to use it at home. A username and password are required; ask your child for them or email your child's counselor.
