The Rochester Community Schools Early Childhood Special Education Department provides a continuum of services and programs. These programs and services are designed to meet the individual needs of eligible preschool students from the ages of 3 through 5.

  • Programs include Basic ECSE classroom programs and Blended ECSE classroom programs
  • Speech and Language Services include individual and /or small group walk-in speech sessions, small group classes working on phonology, social language, receptive and expressive language skills.
  • Community Services - some students may recieve ancillary support in their community preschool setting.  This support may be consultative or direct service provided by a program consultant, school social worker, school psychologist, occupational therapist or physical therapist.
