RACE has a study skills class to help those who want to take the GED test. Classes are FREE for most individuals who do not have a high school diploma, who are at least 18 years old during the marking period of enrollment, and whose class has graduated prior to July 2013. All resident and non-resident students are welcome. For those who are 20 years old and older, you will be assessed for placement. There is a $40 assessment fee (check or cash) per quarter. Bring to registration at the RACE Building:
  • Proof of birth (e.g., driver's license or birth certificate)
  • High school transcripts (You can obtain these directly from the last high school you attended.)
Fees for Students 20  Years Old and Older after September 1, 2013
  • $40 non-refundable assessment fee per quarter (cash or check)
RACE is a certified computer based GED Testing Center for the new GED that was launched in January 2014. You may register for the test and view the GED testing schedule at www.ged.com. The cost of the test is $150 or $37.50 for each individual test. Online GED tests will be given at the address below:
