Growing Up Newsletters for Grades K-5
The objective of the Growing Up newsletters is to build awareness of academic, social and emotional development of students. It encourages active participation in the child's learning experience and increases understanding of the child's capabilities and needs at home and at school. The newsletters are designed to be read in a sequence that roughly matches the school year, however, it is not a rigid schedule. The authors of the newsletters are mature educators that have worked with children in different ways.
The newsletters are organized into folders according to grade levels. Each grade level has the newsletters in folders for the months of September-May. There are 2-3 newsletters per month. Parents may also be interested in the Growing Child monthly child development newsletters time to the age of the child from birth to 5 years old. www.GrowingChild.com
