Math Pentathlon

Where Strategic Thinking Counts

If you are looking for a fun and challenging way to involve your child in mathematics, check out Math Pentathlon!! Using a game format, students with a broad range of abilities develop logical, computational and spatial reasoning skills.  Levels are broken down by the following grades: K-1, 2-3, and 4-5.

Game playing begins weekly from November through April/May concluding with a tournament.

There are many opportunities for parent involvement, from data entry, counting and organizing game pieces, scheduling rooms, administrative, coaching, etc.  Due to the size of the program parent involvement is required at some level.  Children are accepted based on the number of coaches and also on parent involvement.  Every parent MUST volunteer.  See the Positions4Math.doc  document below for additional information.

If your child is interested in strengthening and enriching their math abilities, please complete the registration form found below and return it to the mailbox in the office marked Math Pentathlon.
