College Ready. Career Ready. Life Ready.

In alignment with the Rochester Community Schools’ goals for students, we offer the Junior Achievement program at North Hill. Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.

We generally run the program for 1st-5th grades.  We look to parent volunteers to lead the elementary curriculum. There are 5 weekly sessions during class for approximately 30 minutes (1st-2nd grades) - 45 minutes (3rd-5th grades). There are fun activities built around Our Families (1st), Our Communities (2nd), Our City (3rd), Our Region (4th), and Our Nation (5th) that complement the Michigan Social Studies curriculum.
