School Age Care, or SAC, is a tuition based program offering quality activities before, during, and/or after the school day for grades K-8. Some of the programs offered:
Childcare before and after the school day is offered at all elementary schools from 7:00 a.m. to school start and from school end to 6:00 p.m. Activities include games, crafts, outdoor play, quiet area, and gym time and are led by qualified adult Caregivers. Extended-day enrichment/childcare for Kindergarten children for the other half of the school day is located at all elementary schools. K-Club activities, designed to enhance the Kindergarten curriculum, include literacy activities, math activities, science activities, art, music, games, snack, and rest time. Each K-Club is led by a Caregiver with the credentials stipulated by the State of Michigan which includes 12 credit hours in early childhood development and/or related areas. Information for registration will be available at kindergarten registration to be held at all elementary schools in March or in the SAC Office in the Administration Center. TEAMS (Teens Empowered After Middle School) offers after school activities for Middle School students from school end to 6:00 p.m. Activities include homework time, games, socialization, crafts, and participation in after school activities. SUMMER DAY CAMP
"Awesome Adventures" Summer Day Camp is available to all residents of the Rochester Community Schools district. Camp is open from 7:00am - 6:00pm from June 17 through August 21. Camp will be closed the week of June 29 - July 3. Hampton and Long Meadow Elementary schools will host the camps for the summer of 2009. Activities include weekly field trips, crafts, theme of the week, fitness, games, swimming, music, outdoor play, plus many more. Hot lunches will be available for purchase. Middle school camp, students entering 7th & 8th grades, will be held at Hampton. Registration information can be found on the link below.

The SAC office is located on the third floor of the Administration Center at 501 W University.
Office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday all school days.
Summer hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Thursday.
