The Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Cognitively Impaired (CI) programs at Stoney Creek High School have planted in the four raised garden beds near the portable. Students worked to plot the garden and learn about how to plant the different vegetables. Students also worked with Mr. Wilson's AP Environmental Science class to obtain the seedlings. Students have plotted out each garden bed, planted the seeds, and labeled the different vegetables with stakes. Vegetables growing include lettuce, tomatoes, kale, beets, okra, squash, cucumber, and many more. Students are responsible for watering daily and tracking growth. The vegetables will go to The Neighborhood House and families in and around Rochester.
