RHS Falcons honored former English teacher, Ray Lawson, who will soon be celebrating his 100th birthday! Ray taught at RHS for nearly 60 years. A bronze falcon statue commemorates Ray’s legacy, and the collaboration space, media center, and mall area within the school are now referred to as the Ray Lawson Learning Commons. “We are honored to be naming the Rochester High School common area after such a dedicated educator,” said Robert Shaner, Superintendent. “Our community treasures Ray’s contributions and his legacy will live on for a long time to come.”
