On Saturday, January 6th, 26 students from the Rochester Adams Choirs participated in the U of M Women’s Vocal Arts Day and AHS Men’s Day Out. The day included the women singing with 200+ choral music students from around the state and learning 3 new pieces of music to present in an informal concert later in the afternoon at the renowned Hill Auditorium under the direction of Dr. Julie Skadsem. The day also included the AHS men taking in a U of M basketball game and attending the Vocal Arts Day Concert with the AHS women and the U of M Women’s Glee Club. The AHS students then met together for an evening at the Original Cottage Inn and some gelato in downtown Ann Arbor before the cold ride home.
